First Aid

This course is delivered by a qualified First Aid Instructor with a mix of training delivery, group discussion and practical work ensuring that you get the most of the programme. Combined with certification on successful completion, you will definitely be on the right track to getting yourself noticed and securing your ideal job in the front line industry.(It is recommended that candidates wear casual clothes including flat shoes with no jewellery due to the practical nature of this course.)

The course has been designed to cover the main criteria that will be covered in any training programme:

  • Introduction to First Aid
  • Basic Life Support using the recognised standard ABC approach
  • The theory of CPR
  • CPR demonstration using a manikin (Resus Annie)
  • Skill stations for students to practice their new learnt CPR techniques
  • Introduction to other common Emergencies and the treatment that you could be faced with on a daily basis in the front line:

    • Strokes
    • Epilepsy
    • Diabetes
    • Head injuries
    • Heart attack
    • Burns and scalds
    • Faints
    • Miscarriage

These courses are operated 3 times a year and is delivered by a qualified First Aid Instructor with a mix of training delivery, group discussion and practical work ensuring that you get the most of the programme. These courses are operated in LONDON 3 times a year, January, May & September.
Saturday Class: 1 day course 09.30 - 15.30
Monday Class: 1 day course 10.00 - 16.00

These courses are operated in MANCHESTER & CARDIFF 3 times a year, January, May & September.
Saturday Class: 1 day course 09.30 - 15.30
