NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Event Planning

Within the travel, tourism & business industry, organising events is one of the fastest growing sectors today and great emphasis is still placed upon finding the perfect candidates for this demanding and extremely rewarding job. With this in mind this course has been designed to provide students with the underpinning knowledge required to work effectively as a team member in the events industry and provide the tools needed to deliver the highest level of standard and service to satisfy even the most difficult customer.

This course will not only give you the opportunity to investigate the various areas of event planning but may also upon successful completion guarantee you an interview with one of our affiliates. The main aims of the qualification are:

The Level 2 Certificate in Event Planning is accredited by NCFE.

This Course is operated in LONDON, 3 times a year, February, June & October, with 2 modes of study:
Saturday Class: 12 week course taking place on Saturdays from 09.30 – 15.30
Tuesday Class: 12 week course taking place on Saturdays from 10.00 – 16.00

Course Entry Minimum Age: 17

Event Company Entry Requirements:
Event Companies generally require the following specifications in prospective employees:
  • A minimum age of 18
  • Be 100% flexible
  • Have customer service or sales experience
  • Possess a GCSE or above level of education

Target Group:
Those wishing to find employment in event planning and equip those already working in the industry without a formal qualification. It is also suitable for those who wish to enhance their studies in business, leisure, travel and tourism.
