NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Event Management

The events industry, including festivals, meetings, conferences, exhibitions and a range of other events, is rapidly developing and makes a significant contribution to business and leisure related tourism. With increased regulation Event Managers are now required to identify and service a wide range of stakeholders and to balance their needs and objectives. With this in mind this course has been designed to provide future event professionals with the knowledge required to work effectively in the event management field and provide you with the tools needed to deliver the highest level of event, standard and service to satisfy even the most difficult customer.

This course will not only give you the opportunity to investigate the various areas of event management but may also upon successful completion guarantee you an interview with one of our affiliates. The main aims of the qualification are:

The Qualification:
The Level 3 Certificate in Event Management is accredited by NCFE.

Course Start Dates:
This Course is operated in LONDON (in partnership with Greenwich School Of Management), once a year in October, with 1 mode of study:
Weekday Class: 36 week course taking place over 2.5 days a week from 10.00 – 16.00

Course Entry Minimum Age: 17

Overseas Students
If you are an international student and not a European Economic Area (EEA) or Swiss national you will need to apply for entry clearance (commonly known as a visa) before coming to study in the UK.
Please note that Oyster Training Group does not hold a Tier 4 licence and all international students needing a visa should apply for this course directly through Greenwich School of Management.

Event Company Entry Requirements:
Event Companies generally require the following specifications in prospective employees for Event Management:
  • A minimum age of 18
  • Be 100% flexible
  • Have customer service or sales experience
  • An understanding of the business environment
  • An ability to assume responsibility
  • Industry experience and a recognised qualification

Target Group:
Those wishing to find employment in the event management field, and to formally recognise those already working in the industry with existing knowledge and competence, a formal qualification. It is also suitable for those who wish to enhance their studies in business, leisure, travel and tourism.
